What is Orione Seva? It is the Indian branch and operational name of the Kripa Trust, inspired by and carrying on the mission of the Roman Catholic religious congregation "The Sons of Divine Providence."

Mission: Enabling opportunities and empowering economically disadvantaged sections of society, the elderly, and individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities.
Founder & History

Founder: Saint Luigi Orione (1872–1940), an Italian priest beatified in 1980 and canonized in 2004 by Pope John Paul II. His motto was "Do good always, do good to all, harm nobody."

Origins: St. Luigi began his charitable work helping orphans and street children in Tortona, Italy. Over time, he and his followers expanded services globally to countries like Poland, Brazil, Argentina, and Palestine.

Global Reach Today: Over 1,000 priests and brothers operate across 36 countries, supporting more than 200,000 people through diverse health and social care projects.

Registered Trust: Kripa Trust was registered in 2003 under the Indian Trust Act 1922 (Registration No: 339/2002-03).

Tax & Compliance: Registered with the Income Tax Department under Section 12A and the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

Disability Welfare: Registered with the Disabled Welfare Office in the Chikballapura district under sections 51 and 52 of the PWD Act 1995.

Memberships: Member of the Disability NGOs Alliance (DNA) and the Association of Catholic Rehabilitation Centres in India (ACRCI).

SNEHA means “love and care” in English and this is what motivates us to support underprivileged children in Gauribidanur Taluk, Karnataka through activities coordinated at the Don Orione Horticultural Farm.
